ABOUT OUR WRITING COURSES
Founded in 2011, the Unthank School of Writing provides both face-to-face and online courses for writers working on short stories and novels as well as narrative non-fiction, lifewriting and memoirs.
Our courses are open to anyone in the world. We have courses for complete beginners who need some help getting started, and workshops for more experienced writers developing novels, books or collections. Our international writing community is lively, welcoming and supportive and we even have our own journal, Unveiled.
Our teaching team is comprised entirely of active and published authors. All have years of editorial, publishing and teaching experience. We have all written books and have a strong track record of publishing stories. Many of use write in more than one form or genre, and many of us have won prizes. We all take a great deal of pride in seeing our students go on to succeed.
